This may not be the *best* recipe for beef stroganoff, but it is fast, easy, and I almost always have the ingredients on hand. It is my go-to stroganoff recipe. Even the boys will eat it!
1/2 C minced onion
1 minced garlic clove
2 T flour
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1 can mushrooms (little) - better with fresh mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 C sour cream
plenty of rice or egg noodles
Brown meat, add garlic and onions (drain excess fat). Sit in salt, pepper, flour and mushrooms. Let cook for 8 minutes. Stir in soup. Simmer for 10 minutes. Sit in sour cream. Heat through and serve over rice or egg noodles.
